The two young women were there to celebrate the October cover of the magazine, and also to share their excitement about their upcoming TV show: "Hellcats". Tom Cruise is still the star of 'Mission Impossible 4,' but it looks like he's decided to follow in Harrison Ford's footsteps by having a younger co-star (Shia LaBeouf in the fourth 'Indiana Jones' movie) who may take over the franchise. According to Deadline Hollywood, 'Hurt Locker' star (and Academy Award nominee) Jeremy Renner has been selected to star alongside Tom for the fourth installment of the 'Mission Impossible' franchise.
The studio has struggled to find the right co-star to play an operative opposite Cruise, and one factor was to selecting an actor who could potentially carry the series, should Cruise's Ethan Hunt character not continue to be the emphasis.While Cruise is expected to return for a fifth installment, production chief Adam Goodman wanted a guy who could grow into a leading man in his own right.Did you see Jeremy in 'The Hurt Locker'? MTV Does Positive Reality TV
Where did the music go on MTV? Maybe it's moved over to VH-1. In an effort to combat declining ratings, MTV has announced plans to develop 16 reality TV shows over the next four months.
In case you forgot, MTV pioneered the reality TV trend with the show The Real World in 1992 (long before Survivor, which first aired in 2000). Now MTV is leading to another shift- away from the backbiting drama that most reality TV is known for these days.
'Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment,' says Brian Graden, prez of entertainment at MTV Networks music channels and president of Logo. 'Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves.'"
